In June of 2016 I was commissioned by Cris Wiegandt to help her with concepts and crafts for Veolia Germany's Sustainability Report 2015. The artwork for the report was to focus on the people who work for and with Veolia while at the same time giving the work a hand made and crafted look and feel.

Since I had worked on the annual report for 2014 of Danish company Lejerbo (see here) and a cover pitch for the Danske Bank magazine (see here) for which I used classic paper craft mixed with model train making materials such grass paper and small figures I suggested that mixing techniques and materials could be a great way to go.

Furthermore, I suggested that the style element that could give coherence to the entire project could be to base every key visual on a circle shape because circles can be featured in all kinds of layouts such as landscape format for websites or portrait formats for print.

For the report section of co-working and cooperation I opted to create a cut open version of the fictitious circular Veolia headquaters with rooms for every department - such as laboratories, a garage, a situation room and conference facilities.

Amazingly, the project won Silver at the 2016 Best of Content Marketing Awards.
