Kristina Lindh’s essay offers a compelling exploration of the return of chastity and the rising age of sexual debuts, set against the noisy backdrop of internet pornography and the centennial of a now-defunct Swedish law that once required women to be virgins to marry.
Despite the tight deadline for this editorial illustration series—a double-page spread, a three-quarter page, and a spot illustration (not shown here)—I aimed to create something both playful and refined, striking a balance between obviousness and subtlety.
