Henrik Arnstad explores the concept of Fascism in a fascinating essay in Swedish VI magazine's October 2022 issue.
For this spread I created a concept illustration of a black hand turning free flying birds into barbed wire - the image, however, first becomes clear when you view it "backwards".
This double page illustration leaves room for the headline, abstract and a center fold.
The second illustration in the article uses the same black hand peacefully feeding white birds...
